We are located in northeastern Minnesota, within the wildland-urban interface.
 
Founded in 2000 by George Carlson, a volunteer fire department officer and advanced-technology business consultant, we have successfully installed hundreds of fire protection systems within the wildland-urban interface. Our customers include private and business property owners, as well as federal, state and foreign fire fighting agencies.

Our efforts to reduce the threat of wildfire to structures within the wildland-urban interface have resulted in several FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Projects. A Full Mitigation Best Practice Story was conducted by FEMA’s Region 5 after the success of Wildfire Sprinkler® systems during the 2007 Ham Lake Fire .
 
In May of 2002, George Carlson shared in the prestigious Bronze Smokey Bear Award for his efforts in reducing the threat of wildfire to homes and businesses in Minnesota.
